My recent works are geometric abstract compositions in acrylic on 100% rag paper and acrylic on canvas.

Living in Maine for 37 years my work has been influenced by all of the natural beauty here. I started painting at a young age and received a BFA from Pratt Institute School of Art & Design. After graduating I practiced graphic design in New York City and Portland, Maine. Now I’m focused on my love of creating fine art.

The visual aesthetic in my work originates from my experiences in natural and built environments. The process is to use colors, shapes, and textures that are inspired by nature, music, or design. In the formation of the compositions I use these visual elements to create an image that has balance and movement.

My work is in private collections, corporate and public spaces, online art gallery Zatista, and wholesale art reproductions distributor Image Conscious.
